![]() On a few occasions, instead of a screen glitch, I would get kerrnel panic. Is my RAM getting unseated, or do I have a feared logic board issue. ![]() In an attempt to better seat the ram a few weeks, I accidentally snapped off one of the RAM clips, but it doesn't appear to be any less seated in the RAM slots than it was before, and the period between crashes is the same. ![]() I should also mention this same RAM worked without issue in my last MBP 2012. It always reads 16GB of RAM (I have 2 8GB chips). Most recently when, I move the computer a bit more vigorously, it seems to cause the problem (my cousins two year old was just toying with my computer and it happened). I open the back, take the RAM out, and put it back in. The RAM is from an identical Macbook Pro that works fine. Please help Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7), We also support apple xserves. About a week after I got the used machine, I got screen glitches followed by 3 beeps. I have replaced the RAM with RAM I know is good and it still beeps 3 times and doesn't boot. I've had several 2012 MBPs, but in my most recent one, it seemed the clips holding RAM weren't quite doing the job like my previous models.
